While not officially registered yet we aim to be a non profit benefiting the community of Ni'ihau shell artisans and collectors. We are selling limited quantities of high quality authentic Hawaiian shell jewelry to help maintain operation and to fund our upcoming documentary. Your purchase helps with everything from website development, hosting, research, camera equipment, editing and everything in between. We truly can not do it without your support!

This necklace is a one-of-a-kind design made with a bright yellow O'ahu sunrise shell & Japanese Kumihimo handwoven silk.

The sunrise is a very petite size and is very slightly beach worn. It features the classic white, pink and yellow colors in a pastel hue. On the back it has a white puka bail and hot pink kahelelani to hold it in place. Learn more about sunrise shells and other Hawaiian jewelry on our introduction page!

The silk is hand woven in Kanazawa Japan and is of the highest quality. This necklace features an 8-strand weave pattern called "Edo-uchi-himo". The silk measures 1mm.

It is set in solid yellow gold and is stamped "14K". Length is adjustable by gently pulling the ends and can be worn as a choker and up to 19.50 inches not including the clasp. This piece looks best worn short. Different lengths, colors and pendants are available. Contact Us to inquire about a custom order.
